Pool Rules.

The following rules will be strictly enforced throughout the pool season. Violations of these rules will result in a written reprimand, fines, or revocation of pool privileges for the remainder of the season.
To gain access to the pool area, unlock the padlock. The combination to the padlock may be obtained from your individual president. Please be sure to scramble and lock the padlock upon leaving the pool area.

  • 1. All guests must be supervised by an adult resident. The resident must remain with his/her guests at the pool. Guests cannot remain in the pool area whenever the resident owner leaves.
  • 2. The swimming pool and the swimming pool area are for use of the residents (unit owners and tenants) and their guests. A unit owner, who is not a resident, passes his right to these facilities on to his tenants.
  • 3. Children 16 and under are permitted in the pool area only during the following hours and supervised by an adult resident:
    • Monday through Friday: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
    • Saturday/Holidays: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
    • Sundays: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
    No children in diapers or under the age of 3 are allowed in the pool.
  • 4. The number of guests per unit at anyone time shall not exceed 4.
  • 5. Residents are responsible for the conduct of their family and guests at all times.
  • 6. All individuals must take a shower at the bathhouse before entering the pool. For the few that also use the shower when they leave, please keep the bathhouse clean.
  • 7. Any person known to have or suspected of having a communicable disease shall not use the pool.
  • 8. JUMPING or DIVING into the pool is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN due to the shallow depth and insurance regulations. No boisterous splashing, dunking, running, roughness, or similar behaviors are permitted in the pool or in the pool area. No throwing of coins, rocks, etc. is allowed.
  • 9. Beach balls and floatation devices are prohibited with these exceptions:
    • a. "The noodle" may be used only by adults [any time of day].
    • b. Approved child floatation vests are allowed only when an adult is in the pool with the child.
  • 10. Spitting, spouting water, blowing one's nose, or other bodily excretions in the pool is prohibited.
  • 11. Drinking alcoholic beverages, intoxication, or the use of glassware is strictly PROHIBITED.
  • 12. Light snacks such as chips, cookies, or fruit shall be permitted in and around the pool enclosure. Each person will keep their area clean by using the provided trash receptacles. Picnic tables are provided outside the pool area at the social center grilling veranda, for those who want a full lunch. No hot foods or deliveries are permitted in the pool area.
  • 13. Radios are to be used only with earphones.
  • 14.AII individuals using the pool area will keep their area clean.
  • 15. No pets will be allowed either in the pool or the pool area. Approved, trained service dogs will be allowed in the pool area.
  • 16. Entry to the pool area shall be through the entrance gate. Jumping or climbing over the fence will not be allowed.
  • 17. Proper swim attire is required. Cut off jeans or shorts cannot be worn in the pool.
  • 18. No pool furniture i.e. lounges, chairs, tables, or umbrellas, can be reserved or set aside for later use by anyone.
  • 19. Dressing room floors shall remain free of clothing. Neither the Association nor Management will be responsible for loss of valuables.
  • 20. Upon leaving the pool, lounges and chairs are to be returned to the storage area and umbrellas are to be closed and tied. If a lounge is too heavy for you to manage, ask someone in the pool area for help.
  • 21.An EMERGENCY phone is located inside the gate at the pool. Note: It's advised to bring a cell phone in the event this phone is not working.
  • 22. Smoking is prohibited in the pool area.
  • 23. Pool hours are 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. anyone in the pool after hours will be prosecuted. Southington Police are aware of this and will make an arrest after posted hours.
  • 24. Swimming alone is not permitted. There needs to be at least (2) people within the fenced area of the pool in case of emergency at all times.
  • 25. The last person to leave the pool area (at any time) is responsible for locking all the doors and gate. Please make sure that all the dressing rooms are clear and no one is left inside!
  • 26. Penalties will be invoked on owners for flagrant infractions of the above rules. Please note: All residents are considered to be monitors and can address any person in violation of these rules. Please do not take offense if someone asks for your 10 or reminds you of the rules. Remember, we are all adults! A list of the rules is posted on the pool bulletin board as a constant reminder.
